PENNSYLVANIA IS READY FOR CLEAN TRUCKS
Clean trucks and buses are already having a hugely positive impact across the state. They are lowering operational costs, boosting efficiency, and protecting air quality across the country.
Businesses of every size and across multiple sectors rely on heavy-duty electric vehicles to deliver the goods, services, and community-sustaining jobs that Pennsylvanians rely on. But those heavy-duty trucks have a diesel pollution problem that’s harming the health and well-being of communities across the commonwealth.
By adopting the Advanced Clean Trucks standard, we have the opportunity to meet the market where it’s headed and ensure that Pennsylvania can access the widest range of electric bus and truck models.
This achievable, common-sense program has already been adopted by 11 other states and is supported by businesses in the commonwealth and around the nation.
Now, it’s Pennsylvania’s turn to step up to the plate as a national leader in the transportation sector. Governor Shapiro must move the state forward to adopt the Advanced Clean Trucks Program now, for cleaner air, economic opportunity, and healthier communities.
